“Only A Coward Hits A Woman”-Nollywood Actress Mercy Aigbe Gentry Says No To Domestic Violence


Popular Nollywood actress Mercy  Aigbe Gentry  has taken her stand against Women Violence and all those who perpetuate the wicked act.
The actress and owner of Mag divas boutique posted a picture of a woman with a red eye crying, and a hand closing her mouth tightly.
She captioned it as follows;
“SAY NO TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE……ONLY A COWARD HITS A WOMAN! REAL MEN DON’T HIT! REPOST IF YOU CONCUR”
Alot of female celebrities had taken their stand against this Women Violence, starting from the International Womens Day that took place in March tagged “Be Bold For Change”.
Mercy Aigbe Gentry by this picture is lending her voice, and in supporting women to speak out in oppressive relationships, while cautioning the male folk to stop the evil act.

20-year-old lady stabs her husband to death in Anambra

A 20-year-old lady identified as Makoduchukwu Ndubisi, has been arrested by the  Anambra State  Police command after she stabbed husband to death. The  20-year-old lady who was arrested at their residence at NO. 16 Donking Street, Nsugbe, Anambra State, stabbed her husband John Bosko Ngu, on his chest with a sharp knife over a feud yet to be ascertained. Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the arrest, said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue. He said; “At about 8am today, police detectives attached to 33 Police Station Onitsha arrested one Makoduchukwu Ndubisi , 20, of No 16 Donking Street Nsugbe in Anambra East LGA of Anambra State.
