Award Winning Nollywood Script Writer & Producer, Eric Aghimien Reveals His Inspiration Behind His Movies

Award winning producer, script writer and director, Eric Aghimien has revealed the inspiration behind the movies he produces saying they’re inspired by poor helpless women.
Now this should make us say “no wonder” with his award winning movie, Slow Country which talks about a poor young single mother who had to commit herself to drug trafficking and prostitution to fend for herself and her child.
This revelation was made to Playgroundng during the private screening of movie, Slow Country on the 21st of April and will start showing in cinemas on the 5th of May, 2017.

20-year-old lady stabs her husband to death in Anambra

A 20-year-old lady identified as Makoduchukwu Ndubisi, has been arrested by the  Anambra State  Police command after she stabbed husband to death. The  20-year-old lady who was arrested at their residence at NO. 16 Donking Street, Nsugbe, Anambra State, stabbed her husband John Bosko Ngu, on his chest with a sharp knife over a feud yet to be ascertained. Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the arrest, said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue. He said; “At about 8am today, police detectives attached to 33 Police Station Onitsha arrested one Makoduchukwu Ndubisi , 20, of No 16 Donking Street Nsugbe in Anambra East LGA of Anambra State.
