I can reject a lead role in Hollywood – Toyin Abraham


The actress while speaking at the ongoing conference states that she prefers to be popular in Nigeria and would gladly turn down a lead role in Hollywood if the script does not portray her beliefs and culture.
I have made up my mind to do only what improves me positively and more importantly, what portrays my culture and tradition. Forget the big money, I’d rather stay here.
She also talks on how Nollywood has improved greatly in the last few years, according to her, there is now division of labour unlike in the past when you he Producer directs, writes and also acts.

20-year-old lady stabs her husband to death in Anambra

A 20-year-old lady identified as Makoduchukwu Ndubisi, has been arrested by the  Anambra State  Police command after she stabbed husband to death. The  20-year-old lady who was arrested at their residence at NO. 16 Donking Street, Nsugbe, Anambra State, stabbed her husband John Bosko Ngu, on his chest with a sharp knife over a feud yet to be ascertained. Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the arrest, said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue.
