Host of “Inside Out with Agatha” marks 20 years. Reveals plans to step aside for new host.




Agatha Amata, host of “Inside Out with Agatha” held a press conference today at RaveTv, Illupeju, Lagos where she revealed plans for her 20th anniversary and hand over to a new face. She plans to finally retire from the show totally at 50. She is 48 years old now, so that is in 2 years time.

According to the Inside out star, she said she got tired of being told by people that she was watched while they were growing up;
“I felt it was time to step down for the younger generation, and I didn’t want to be in their way, 20 years is a long time, its time to retire for a younger one with passion to taking over, trust me when I say inside out is not about Agatha, but about passion and the people”
The selection of the next face of inside out will be in a tv reality show pattern. The top 20 out of the 500 registered participants will spend 6 weeks in the house, where they will be given tasks and finally the winner will be picked.
She specifies that the face might be a male and not a female. She is not particular about the face or looks, she is just looking for that one person with passion.
Her final recording will be on the 4th of August, 2017 and from then she will groom the person for the next 2 years after which she will be stepping down.
The reality show, tagged ”The Search” will premiere in July.

20-year-old lady stabs her husband to death in Anambra

A 20-year-old lady identified as Makoduchukwu Ndubisi, has been arrested by the  Anambra State  Police command after she stabbed husband to death. The  20-year-old lady who was arrested at their residence at NO. 16 Donking Street, Nsugbe, Anambra State, stabbed her husband John Bosko Ngu, on his chest with a sharp knife over a feud yet to be ascertained. Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the arrest, said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue.
