#Lagos At 50#-Nollywood Actor Now Politician, Desmond Elliot Kneels To Pray For Lagos.


Popular Nollywood actor Desmond Elliot has shown the public his religious side, as he kneels to pray for Lagos State, as it marks its 50th anniversary.
The actor now member of Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Surulere 1, launched a campaign tagged “SURULERE RELIGIOUS BODIES PRAY FOR LAGOS @ 50.
Just last week Friday, Desmond Elliot was in Surulere Central Mosque for its Jumat’ prayers all channeled at Lagos at 50.
Today, the actor in company of his supporters were at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Kneeling as they prayed for Lagos State.
He captioned the post as follows;
“WHEN WE GO DOWN ON OUR KNEES, INDEED THE HEAVENS WILL HEAR US……WITH THE MEMBERS OF LOVERS OF D.O.E OF SURULERE KNEELING IN THE GAP FOR LAGOS @ 50. MANY THANKS TO REV. YOMI KASALI, BISHOP SOLA ROE”

20-year-old lady stabs her husband to death in Anambra

A 20-year-old lady identified as Makoduchukwu Ndubisi, has been arrested by the  Anambra State  Police command after she stabbed husband to death. The  20-year-old lady who was arrested at their residence at NO. 16 Donking Street, Nsugbe, Anambra State, stabbed her husband John Bosko Ngu, on his chest with a sharp knife over a feud yet to be ascertained. Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the arrest, said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue.
