Mercy Aigbe speaks on controversial red dress, promises to take legal action against designer! [Video]

Finally, Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe whose 40th birthday caused not a little stir after a particular dress she wore for her birthday shoot was declared to be a bride’s reception dress has spoken.

The red dress issue had escalated so much on the social media after the bride called out not just the designer but also the actress and even hinted that Mercy could have bribed the designer, Maryam Elisha to hurt her.

While the matter went from bad to worse with different story versions, the actress had held her peace aggravating the anger of Nigerians who really needed her to either apologize to the bride or simply tell her side of the story.

Mercy has finally spoken and according to the statement she released, she never met the designer in person but transacted through her stylist who got four dresses from her.
“She never told us one of the dresses was for someone else” Mercy said, backing up the claims of her stylist and contradicting the claims of the designer who swore it was a dispatch error at the same time, tagging the designer as a greedy business woman.
Mercy however sympathizes with the bride who was made to go through unnecessary pain but promises to take some legal action.
She also stated during a live show that she needs the designer to compensate the bride and also compensate her for putting her in that embarrassing situation.
Meanwhile, Mercy Aigbe dropped this statement and disabled her comments, telling us to keep our thoughts to ourselves… 😎

20-year-old lady stabs her husband to death in Anambra

A 20-year-old lady identified as Makoduchukwu Ndubisi, has been arrested by the  Anambra State  Police command after she stabbed husband to death. The  20-year-old lady who was arrested at their residence at NO. 16 Donking Street, Nsugbe, Anambra State, stabbed her husband John Bosko Ngu, on his chest with a sharp knife over a feud yet to be ascertained.
