Kada River sets to premiere in Toronto Film Festival
Nollywood is certainly finding its place in the front seat of entertainment where the world is concerned as everyone wants to know more about the Nigerian story. That said Kada River has been selected as part of the movies to be screened at the Toronto Film Festival.
This announcement was made by the director, Toka McBaror who expressed how grateful he is that the movie, which is not yet out will be screened for the first time at the Toronto Film Festival.
The highly anticipated movie is centered around Kaduna crisis, the lives it took and how families who had lost lives were changed forever.
The movie produced by the estranged husband of Tonto Dikeh, Olakunle Churchill who is also the CEO of Big Church Foundation and directed by Toka McBaror has stellar casts such as Joke Silva, Rachel Oniga, Eniola Badmus, Chris Okagbue, Bayray McNwizu and many others.
In September, the entire team of Kada River will be heading to Toronto for the debut premiere of the movie, meaning after that premiere, there will hopefully be subsequent premieres, either in film festivals or the grand premiere here in Nigeria.
