6 Natural “laiskin” actresses of Nollywood


If there’s one complexion that is popular in Nollywood, especially Yoruba Nolly, it’s the fact that you see more light skin beauties than black skin. Now one would want to ask if the criteria for acting means you have to be light skin, that question is one I cannot answer for you, what i can tell you for sure is that some in come in dark and then they turn light.
What? Yes… that’s the reality we face in Nigerian entertainment, especially Nollywood where most people are now believing that yu have to be light to be beautiful.
Well, those people are not our concern for today, we’ll come for them later. Our major concerns are the people who came in light and remained light. These people are our team “Natural laiskin” and their complexion can only get better by being smooth and nice to look upon
The first on our list is Tonto Dikeh, although she is coming first, but she is number 6 on our list. Tonto Dikeh came into the industry being light skin but not this light, her present shade of complexion is only a proof that Nollywood has been really good to her, abi I lie?
Next on my list is Linda Ejiofor. Yes, she made is to this list, but she is not just a light skin beauty, she is also a talented actress, and with her gorgeous face, she’ll be pretty no matter the complexion.

With the rumour going round that she’s the mistress of Tonto Dikeh’s estranged husband, Olakunle Churchill, one would think Olakunle is with her because of her complexion, but hey, we certainly want to believe she is more than that.

The actress who has spent over a decade in Nollywood has shown us that consistency does make you stay relevant and her complexion has also been consistent and that consistency has made it glow that every time on the red carpet is a good sight to behold.
Adunni Ade takes the number two spot on the Light skin beauties as her skin in nothing short of beautiful.
Our number one light skin queen is Adesua Etomi. Yes, she is light-skinned, beautiful, talented and intelligent. The actress came into Nollywood and every role given to her were interpreted so well like they were just for her. She is the love of Banky W and we won’t be wrong to state that she is his recent inspiration, but really, would Adesua not inspire you if you’re dating her?

20-year-old lady stabs her husband to death in Anambra

A 20-year-old lady identified as Makoduchukwu Ndubisi, has been arrested by the  Anambra State  Police command after she stabbed husband to death. The  20-year-old lady who was arrested at their residence at NO. 16 Donking Street, Nsugbe, Anambra State, stabbed her husband John Bosko Ngu, on his chest with a sharp knife over a feud yet to be ascertained. Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the arrest, said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue.
