Nollywood script writer, Azeezat speak on ‘UNRECOGNIZABLE’ treatment by movie producer


Without their words, there would be no movies, but screenwriters have never received the recognition they deserve in Nollywood especially the yoruba Nollywood. Now one of the rising script writers, Azeezat Shorunmu who is the writer of the ONLY yoruba movie to reach 1million views on youtube both part 1 and part (The Return of Kesari), have spoken out.
She observed that, while cast and crew get credits, “you’ll noticed that most producers/Editor remove the writer name”.
She wrote:

Appreciates the works of writer’s …Editor’s blames the continuity man that he fails to write the name of the script writer on the list he /she gives him …The Continuity man will deny .But you as the producer’s are also not helping matters ..You will post the names of your crew on Instagram and you won’t tag your writer’s name . Why ? We all want to Boost our profile one way or the other , that we have done A and B. But at the end , We looks like a liar when the movie comes out and our name gets missing in the crew list . why don’t you forgets to tag your make up, Pm and the other crew ..Only the script writer works without taking the credit or glory ..#i sha knw you cant stop me from reaching top 😂/ #And For does who tags and appreciate their writer’s #muah💋💋💋💋# May you be celebrated #

39kg of cocaine found on plane carrying Brazil president's team

Bags filled with cocaine were discovered on a military plane travelling with the president of Brazil to the G20 summit on Tuesday, allegedly planted there by a Brazilian air force member. . . The plane was making a stopover in Seville, Spain, before heading to this week’s G20 summit in Tokyo, Japan, when the Brazilian air force officer was detained. . . Mother says her 8-year-old daughter was not raped by a man but sexually abused by a woman

Mother of 8-year-old Oluwatosin Abosede, has quashed claims of her daughter being dragged to a store and raped by an unknown man.  Twitter user @YemieFash relayed the information he got on the platform after his phone conversation with the mother of the girl who said her daughter was sexually abused by a woman whose whereabouts is currently unknown. It was also learnt that the police have commenced an investigation into the incident after being accused of having cold feet. He tweeted; I have been able to reach the mother of the 8year old girl that was raped in Irele, Ondo State. She said her daughter was not raped as reported earlier, she said a lady forcefully penetrated her daughter with her hand. You can listen here.
