Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekehinde who turned 40 during the week had a symposium yesterday which brought dignitaries from all sectors of the economy together at Radisson Blu hotel.

The Symposium tagged “Mental slavery and the true emancipation of the black race” was attended by dignitaries from the political and entertainment sector.

Senator Dino Melaye, Ben Bruce and Hon Abike Dabiri were panelists at the event. Also present were celebrities from the entertainment industry including OAP Daddy Freeze who spoke extensively on the topic.
The grand finale of Omotola’s 5.day event is set to take place later tonight in Lagos…

20-year-old lady stabs her husband to death in Anambra

A 20-year-old lady identified as Makoduchukwu Ndubisi, has been arrested by the  Anambra State  Police command after she stabbed husband to death. The  20-year-old lady who was arrested at their residence at NO. 16 Donking Street, Nsugbe, Anambra State, stabbed her husband John Bosko Ngu, on his chest with a sharp knife over a feud yet to be ascertained. Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the arrest, said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue. He said; “At about 8am today, police detectives attached to 33 Police Station Onitsha arrested one Makoduchukwu Ndubisi , 20, of No 16 Donking Street Nsugbe in Anambra East LGA of Anambra State.
