A Customs officer is currently lying critically in the hospital after some smugglers almost chopped off his hand in an attack in Lagos. The Customs officer was trying to stop the smugglers from smuggling in their exotic cars when they attacked him with a matchete.

Bags filled with cocaine were discovered on a military plane travelling with the president of Brazil to the G20 summit on Tuesday, allegedly planted there by a Brazilian air force member. . . The plane was making a stopover in Seville, Spain, before heading to this week’s G20 summit in Tokyo, Japan, when the Brazilian air force officer was detained. . .
