Woman orders laundry basket from Amazon but what was delivered was not what she expected
A woman suffered an online shopping fail when she ordered a laundry basket on Amazon only to receive a product that wasn't what she expected.
Lauren Lacey, from Nottinghamshire, thought she had found a bargain when she came across an affordable laundry basket on Amazon that cost 91p. Due to how cheap it was, she ordered three.
But when the "laundry baskets" arrived, Lauren was shocked to find they were about the size of her hand and could only fit a few pairs of socks.
It turned out what Lauren had ordered weren’t laundry baskets at all, but tiny desk organisers designed to hold pens, glasses, and makeup brushes.
Lauren shared the story on the Hinch Army Cleaning Tips group on Facebook and it amused other group members.
Sharing photos of the tiny baskets, Lauren wrote: "So I thought I was getting a bargain, three washing baskets at 91p each, guess who didn’t read the description?"
Reacting to her story, a number of people commented on the post to share stories of their own online orders gone wrong.
Apparently, Lauren isn't the only one to make the mistake. In the reviews section on Amazon, someone left a one star review and the warning: "BE AWARE TINY TINY TINY!!!!!! ONLY 4 INCHES HIGH NOT LAUNDRY BASKET!!!!!"
