As part of the celebrations to mark the 50th anniversary of Rivers State, veteran Nollywood actress, Monalisa Chinda enacted Elechi Amadi‘s play “The Concubine” on stage.
The play which was staged on Tuesday was star studded with actors such as Segun Arinze, Onyeka Onwenu, Ebele Okaro, Francis Duru and many more.
Some of Nollywood’s best also came to show support not just for the industry, but also for their state as it celebrates its golden jubilee and hose that attended were; Ibinabo Fiberesima, Imeh Bishop Umoh, Kemen of Big Brother Naija and others.

20-year-old lady stabs her husband to death in Anambra

A 20-year-old lady identified as Makoduchukwu Ndubisi, has been arrested by the  Anambra State  Police command after she stabbed husband to death. The  20-year-old lady who was arrested at their residence at NO. 16 Donking Street, Nsugbe, Anambra State, stabbed her husband John Bosko Ngu, on his chest with a sharp knife over a feud yet to be ascertained. Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the arrest, said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue. He said; “At about 8am today, police detectives attached to 33 Police Station Onitsha arrested one Makoduchukwu Ndubisi , 20, of No 16 Donking Street Nsugbe in Anambra East LGA of Anambra State.
