Actor Saidi Balogun Postpones 50th Birthday Celebration In Honour Of Late Moji Olaiya, Pastor Ajidara And Olumide Bakare.



Nollywood Veteran actor, Saidi Balogun recently clocked 50 years and he planned a 4-day celebration starting from today May 22 till May 25, 2017.
He has now postponed the celebration until July 4, 2017, in honour of his three colleagues who recently died. In his words;


THE POSTPONEMENT IS IN HONOUR OF THE THREE FALLEN HEROES IN THE YORUBA MOVIE INDUSTRY, OLUMIDE BAKARE, PRINCE ADESINA ADESANYA(PASTOR AJIDARA) AND MOJI OLAIYA.
Prince Adesina Adesanya(Pastor Ajidara) and Olumide Bakare would be buried on the 25th and 26th of May, 2017 respectively.
It is in view of this that a July 4th-7th, 2017 date has been chosen for the occasion. We hope you will keep the date opened in your diary.

20-year-old lady stabs her husband to death in Anambra

A 20-year-old lady identified as Makoduchukwu Ndubisi, has been arrested by the  Anambra State  Police command after she stabbed husband to death. The  20-year-old lady who was arrested at their residence at NO. 16 Donking Street, Nsugbe, Anambra State, stabbed her husband John Bosko Ngu, on his chest with a sharp knife over a feud yet to be ascertained. Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the arrest, said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue. He said; “At about 8am today, police detectives attached to 33 Police Station Onitsha arrested one Makoduchukwu Ndubisi , 20, of No 16 Donking Street Nsugbe in Anambra East LGA of Anambra State.
