Popular Nollywood Film maker and Producer,  Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen  is in a joyous mood today, as he celebrates the 4th birthday of his daughter Iyesogie Daisy. The Film maker who is also remembering the demise of his mother, who passed on five years ago, eulogized her for being a good mother, not forgetting the love she instilled on the children, while growing up. In celebrating his little daughter, he acknowledged that her coming into the world changed his day of sorrow into joy, and brought him laughter and grace. See photo below; Iyesogie Daisy Her name Iyesogie means “Mother is supreme” in Bini Language, meaning that her coming into the world a year after the death of his mother, shows the supreme nature of motherhood, making her presence a thing of joy, blessing and hope. About 253 Nigerians voluntarily returned from Libya to Nigeria yesterday  Tuesday  April 25 aboard a chartered Airbus A330-200 with registration mark 5A-LAT operated by Libya Airlines According to reports, they arrived at about  6:45 pm  at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.   Officials of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), the National Agency for the Protection of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP),  National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) received 253 Nigerians (102 males, 140 females, 6 children and 5 infants) They were brought back by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) after the Federal Government asked for its assistance after confirming that some Nigerians were willing to return home. 37 year old Mariam Nabatanzi Babirye is blessed with 38 children. Too much for her age, you say? She lives in Kabimbiri village, Mukono District in Uganda. In a recent interview with Uganda’s Daily Monitor, Mariam said that she was married off to her then forty year old husband at age 12 after she escaped death in 1993. “ I did not know I was being married off. People came home and brought things for my father. When time came for them to leave, I thought I was escorting my aunt but when I got there, she gave me away to the man.” She said that her husband was polygamous and abusive. She gave birth to her first set of twins in 1994 when at age 14. Two years later, she gave birth to triplets and a year and seven months after that added a set of quadruplets. She did not see this as a strange development since her father gave birth to 45 children with different women and these all came in quintuplets, quadruples, twins and triplets. Agatha Amata, host of “Inside Out with Agatha” held a  press conference  today at RaveTv, Illupeju, Lagos where she revealed plans for her 20th anniversary and hand over to a new face. She plans to finally retire from the show totally at 50. She is 48 years old now, so that is in 2 years time.
