A 28-year-old man, Anudumoapo Aiodun, has been arrested for allegedly raping and defiling an 8 -year-old girl in #Bariga, Lagos.

The state police command spokesperson, Bala Elkana, said the suspect was nabbed on Saturday June 15th at about 5.00pm, following a complaint from the victim’s mom.

The victim was taken to General Hospital for medical treatment and forensic examination. Investigation is ongoing and the suspect will be charged to court soon.

20-year-old lady stabs her husband to death in Anambra

A 20-year-old lady identified as Makoduchukwu Ndubisi, has been arrested by the  Anambra State  Police command after she stabbed husband to death. The  20-year-old lady who was arrested at their residence at NO. 16 Donking Street, Nsugbe, Anambra State, stabbed her husband John Bosko Ngu, on his chest with a sharp knife over a feud yet to be ascertained. Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the arrest, said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue.
