Another Popular Yoruba Actor Dies After Suffering From Stroke
Another death has occurred in the Yoruba movie industry as you are reading this. It is the death of one of the directors, actors cum producers, Alhaji Saidi Lawal, who was the General Secretary of the Indegenous Movie Makers Association of Nigeria.
According to the information at www.yorubamoviegist.com’s disposal, the charismatic director died this morning, 4th June 2018, after a serious battle with stroke.
In his life time, he was a member of Awada Kerikeri, a theater group headed by Femi Adebayo’s dad, Adebayo Salami aka Oga Bello.
Lawal, was also good in script writing and one of those he worked with in the industry is sexy actress, Iyabo Ojo. May His Soul Rest in Peace.

20-year-old lady stabs her husband to death in Anambra

A 20-year-old lady identified as Makoduchukwu Ndubisi, has been arrested by the  Anambra State  Police command after she stabbed husband to death. The  20-year-old lady who was arrested at their residence at NO. 16 Donking Street, Nsugbe, Anambra State, stabbed her husband John Bosko Ngu, on his chest with a sharp knife over a feud yet to be ascertained. Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the arrest, said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue.
