Top actress Omotola Jalade Ekehinde has told the story of how she survived hard times in Nollywood especially when top stars in the industry were banned many years ago.
The actress in a response to beauty queen Omowunmi Akinnifesi’s post on #YetIWon, the actress revealed how her life almost crumbled after her father’s death when she was barely a teenager.
She followed a friend to a movie audition but got picked instead of her friend and from there, the Nollywood journey began.
However, it wasn’t all rosy as top actors including Omotola Jalade got the big ban in her case, she was banned for two years while her colleagues were banned for one…she diverted to music.
