The opening night of the long-awaited movie “Dr. Mekam” held on Friday 16th of March 2018 at Ikeja City Mall. The movie, which was shot in Atlanta and in Nigeria, tells the story of a Nigerian doctor, who was trained in American. After returning home to lead a new political movement, he is faced with the harsh reality of the situation.
Directed by Ike Nnaebue and produced by Obylicious Empire Production, the movie features top Nollywood actors like Kalu Ikeagwu, Uche Jombo, Yemi Blaq, Gloria Young, Seun Akindele, Emeka Okoye, Oby Olebara Uzoukwu, Chika Chukwu, Eric Obinna and Eva Appiah.

20-year-old lady stabs her husband to death in Anambra

A 20-year-old lady identified as Makoduchukwu Ndubisi, has been arrested by the  Anambra State  Police command after she stabbed husband to death. The  20-year-old lady who was arrested at their residence at NO. 16 Donking Street, Nsugbe, Anambra State, stabbed her husband John Bosko Ngu, on his chest with a sharp knife over a feud yet to be ascertained. Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the arrest, said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue. He said; “At about 8am today, police detectives attached to 33 Police Station Onitsha arrested one Makoduchukwu Ndubisi , 20, of No 16 Donking Street Nsugbe in Anambra East LGA of Anambra State.
