Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the lives of celebrities and how it affects others in the society.  Foluke stated that a celebrity will not always be the star of the moment no matter how good and popular they are because new stars will always arise. Advising her colleagues to live a responsible life, the actress added that a celebrity is not a good one if he/her life can't motivate others to aspire for the best they deserve.  She wrote; "No matter how good and popular you think you are as a celebrity, you cannot always be the star of the moment. The Niger state Police command have arrested three young men for stealing pants in Lapai and Kaffin-Koro area of Niger state. The police gave the names of the suspects as Mohammed Ali 24; Ephraim Isaiah 19 and Abubakar Sadiq 18. Mohammed Ali, a tailor, was arrested when he tried removing a female pant spread inside the room of a female student in State Low-Lost in Lapai.  While being paraded before newsmen at the state police command today, Ali confessed that he was contacted by one of his customers to steal four female pants after which he would be given N20,000. He said that he was in the act of stealing the third pant when he was caught by the people in the area and handed over to the Police. “One Madaji Yabajeko from Agaie is my customer who comes to sew clothes from me. He approached me to steal pants for him, that if I steal four pants, he will pay me N20,000'' Ali said

Nollywood actress, Seyi Alabi has welcomed a baby girl as confirmed in an Instagram post she shared earlier today.  The excited mother disclosed that her baby has been christened Princess Alabi. Seyi Alabi also stated that giving birth to her child was worth all the pain and aches as she said a prayer for expectant women.  She wrote "I am Greatful oh Lord for you have done exceedingly and abundantly for us. Zlatan Ibile has reacted to his official DJ's move of naming his dog 'Tacha', days after he (Zlatan) made headlines for mocking a 2019 Big Brother Naija Housemate with same name with a  'body odour' song.  Posing with his new dog in the photo he shared, DJ 4kerty wrote "Tacha #Rottweiler, Barking Dog". Zlatan who commented on the post wrote "Ki lorun" meaning "What's Smelling". 

Asuku Jamiu Abdulkareem, the new Chief of Staff to Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello, has alleged that the impeached deputy governor of Kogi state, Elder Simon Achuba, left a charm in his government house apartment after he hurriedly exited the residence. Elder Simon Achuba was impeached recently by the Kogi state House of Assembly. In a Facebook post, Asuku Jamiu Abdulkareem said the charm was discovered when maintenance officers and security personal went to prepare the place to host some visitors for today’s flag off Rally. A hotel in Shimawa (a Lagos-Ogun border community) which uses underage girls as commercial sex workers was uncovered on Wednesday October 23, by detectives attached to the Federal Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (FCIID) Alagbon in Ikoyi. Two men were arrested alongside 14 girls said to come from Akwa Ibom, Kogi, Enugu and Imo states. The girls who claimed they were lured to the facility by friends from their respective villages are forced to pay their boss N1,000 daily for the accommodation, and they are forced to sleep with a minimum of four men daily at a fee ranging between N500 and N1,000 per client to achieve this. Asides sleeping with clients for money, it was also learnt that the men also slept with them any time they want. Those arrested at the hotel include its owner Gbenga Olayinka, his nephew Adekunle Oshineye, 28, three adult commercial sex workers- Happiness Daniel, Favour Nkume and Glory Ewelike- as well as nine underage girls. Doctors have finally found a way to stop Mariam Nabatanzi, said to be the world's most fertile woman from having more kids.  The 36-year-old Ugandan woman had a total of 44 children including four sets of twins, five sets of triplets and five quadruplets. Nabatanzin, now a single mother who works as a tailor, hairdresser and herbalist to earn enough money to raise her 38 surviving children was reportedly sold into marriage at the age of 12 to a man who was 40-year-old at that time (28 years her senior). She had her first child one year later. "Generally, I have tried to educate them. My dream is that my children go to school. They can lack anything (else), but they must go to school," Nabatazni revealed in a recent Al Jazeera documentary. "I can't say they are nagging because they are my children. An update on the severely malnourished naked woman allegedly dropped off by a car under Jubilee bridge in Ajah (read  here ), Lagos, has been given. The woman's name has been given as Ene. She is reportedly HIV positive and has been taken to Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH. Twitter user Solomon Buchi gave the update, writing:  Pls help. This is Ene. She is HIV positive. Photos have been shared online, showing the damage done to businesses and properties following yesterday's fire in Onitsha. The Onitsha fire at Ochanja market led to the loss of lives and properties yesterday, October 16.  A loaded tanker on Wednesday spilled its content on the road at Upper Iweka Road in Onitsha. The spillage led to a fire incident that resulted in death and the destruction of several buildings and business premises in the commercial centre The extent of the damage and the number of casualties are still not known. However, it's been reported that the fire hasn't been completely put out. One of the heartbreaking photos shared online shows a side-by-side photo of a man's business before and after the fire. The businessman's store was razed to the ground with all his wares in it and he looked dejected as he stood in the midst of the wreckage. See below.

A graphic video circulating online shows the moment a man was caught with a woman's head in a polythene bag. The man was forced to remove the content of the bag to reveal the woman's severed head. Photos purportedly showing the woman who was beheaded have also been shared online. It shows her wearing the same hairstyle seen on the severed head. A severely malnourished naked woman was thrown out of a moving car in Ajah. The incident took place on the evening of Wednesday, October 16.  According to eyewitnesses, she was thrown out at the popular Jubilee Bridge in Ajah. Eyewitnesses also claim the woman wasn't looking as amaciated when she was dropped. She allegedly "dried up in a few minutes" after getting dropped by the car.
